1.03 AUCUNE AFFILIATION GOUVERNEMENTALE – LE MANUEL PROVINCIAL RÉGIT.
CitizenTest.CA is not a government website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or connected to any government authority that creates, administers, processes, supervises, or evaluates the Canadian citizenship test or citizenship application process. References on this website to the Canadian citizenship test, citizenship requirements, application procedures, official study materials, government policies, laws, regulations, or related topics are provided for educational and informational purposes only. When we summarize or explain information relating to Canadian citizenship, we do so based on publicly available government materials and our own interpretation of those materials. You acknowledge that our summaries, explanations, and study resources may not reflect every update, exception, interpretation, policy change, or legal requirement, and you agree that the official Discover Canada study guide, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), applicable legislation, regulations, and official government resources remain the authoritative sources of information.
Our practice tests and learning tools are intended to support study and preparation. We do not claim that the questions, answers, wording, order, format, or difficulty level on our website will match any official examination. The materials are designed to help you review concepts that may be relevant to the Canadian citizenship test, but no practice resource can predict the exact content of an official test or guarantee a particular result.
We aim to provide useful preparation materials that reflect important concepts commonly found in the official study guide and related resources. However, official examinations may use different wording, updated rules, different emphasis, or questions that are not included in our materials. You are responsible for reviewing the official Discover Canada study guide and other applicable government resources in addition to any preparation tools offered by CitizenTest.CA.
Jargon non juridique
We are not a government site. Always rely on the official study guide and government resources as the final source.

3.0 SERVICES PREMIUM
(A)    Premium Features and Plans.  CitizenTest.CA may provide free study materials as well as paid products, memberships, subscriptions, upgrades, downloads, practice tools, simulations, study resources, and other features that we may refer to as “Premium.” Premium plans may include additional content or functionality beyond the free version of the website. Available features, plan names, pricing, eligibility, guarantee terms, access periods, and promotional offers may vary and may be updated at any time. Current information may be available on our website, including at https://www.citizentest.ca/premium/. PDF or digital materials, where offered, are provided electronically only unless we expressly state otherwise.
(B)    Prices and Payment Method.  Prices, features, promotions, discounts, and plan availability may be modified, added, discontinued, or withdrawn at any time without prior notice. By purchasing a Premium product or service, you authorize CitizenTest.CA and its payment processors to charge the payment method you provide for all applicable fees, taxes, and charges associated with the purchase. Unless a Premium plan is expressly identified as a subscription or automatically renewing service, Premium access is provided on a one-time payment basis and will not renew automatically. Before completing a purchase, you are responsible for reviewing the applicable pricing, access period, included features, eligibility requirements, and any terms that apply to the selected plan.
Jargon non juridique
Premium plans, prices, features, and promotions may change. Check the website before buying.
4.0 POLITIQUE DE REMBOURSEMENT/ANNULATION ET GARANTIE PASS
(A) Garantie de réussite :   CitizenTest.CA may offer a Pass Guarantee with certain qualifying Premium plans. The Pass Guarantee is a limited refund program and applies only when all stated requirements are satisfied. To qualify, the customer must meet each of the following conditions:
- The customer must have purchased a plan that expressly includes the Pass Guarantee at the time of purchase.
- The customer must complete the required CitizenTest.CA guided preparation program, including all required practice tests and Exam Simulation components connected to the plan.
- The customer must fail the applicable official Canadian citizenship test and provide accurate official proof of the failed attempt.
- The customer must email support@citizentest.ca and request review under the Pass Guarantee. The most recent completion of the required CitizenTest.CA tests should occur no earlier than 30 days before the official exam date. CitizenTest.CA will review the request and determine, in its discretion and based on the applicable rules, whether the customer qualifies. We may update, modify, limit, or discontinue the Pass Guarantee rules or program at any time, with changes posted on the website where appropriate.
- The customer must be the primary purchaser or primary account holder. Additional users, family-sharing users, complimentary accounts, gifted secondary accounts, or other non-primary users are not covered by the Pass Guarantee unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
(B) Politique de remboursement :    Except where the Pass Guarantee applies or where required by applicable law, CitizenTest.CA generally does not provide refunds for digital products, Premium access, practice materials, subscriptions, or services once access has been provided. Because digital access is delivered quickly and account access may begin immediately, refunds are considered only in limited cases and at CitizenTest.CA’s discretion. We may consider a refund where a material technical issue prevents delivery or use of the purchased product and the issue cannot reasonably be resolved after you contact us for support.
- Non-delivery: if an email, login, or digital access message is not received because of a technical issue, contacting support will usually allow us to help restore or provide access.
- Major technical defect: if a digital file, feature, or material is materially defective, the issue must be reported to support so we can review, correct, reissue, replace, or otherwise address the problem where appropriate.
- Material mismatch: if a purchased product is materially different from how it was described on the purchase page, the issue must be reported within 14 days of purchase with clear supporting details.
Refunds are not normally issued for reasons based on preference, expectations, change of mind, lack of use, scheduling, or circumstances unrelated to product delivery or functionality. Examples of situations that generally do not qualify for a refund include:
- You changed your mind after purchase;
- You purchased the wrong product or purchased by mistake;
- You did not use the service, did not have enough time to study, or did not find the service suitable for your personal expectations;
- You want the funds returned for another purpose or because your plans changed.
If a refund request is approved, CitizenTest.CA will determine whether the refund is full or partial and will process the approved amount within a reasonable time, usually within 14 business days. Once a refund is issued, Premium access may be downgraded, suspended, or removed. By purchasing through the website, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review this Refund Policy and the other Terms that apply to your purchase.
Jargon non juridique
Refunds are limited. The Pass Guarantee applies only if the listed requirements are met.
(C)    Cancellation policy for recurring purchases.   If you purchase a plan that renews automatically, you may cancel future renewal by following the cancellation instructions in your account area or by emailing support@citizentest.ca with the account name and email address connected to the purchase. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund for charges already processed. To avoid the next renewal charge, you should cancel sufficiently before the renewal date and, where available, disable auto-renewal through the website. Once a renewal payment has been processed, refund requests are reviewed under the Refund Policy above and are not guaranteed.
(D)    End of Premium Access Upon Cancellation or Non-Payment.   If you cancel a renewing plan or if a renewal payment fails, is reversed, is withdrawn, or is not completed, CitizenTest.CA may end, suspend, or downgrade Premium access on or after the applicable renewal date or failed payment date.
(E)     Automatic Renewal Responsibility.  If a customer purchases a subscription or other automatically renewing plan, the customer is responsible for monitoring the renewal date and disabling renewal when Premium services are no longer wanted. CitizenTest.CA may be unable to provide a refund for automatic renewal charges where the customer did not cancel before the renewal was processed.
Jargon non juridique
For subscriptions, cancel before renewal if you do not want another charge. Processed renewal payments are not automatically refundable.
4.1 RÉTROCESSIONS
AS DESCRIBED ELSEWHERE IN THESE TERMS, CitizenTest.CA GENERALLY DOES NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS OR WHERE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW. IF YOU BELIEVE THAT A CHARGE, PAYMENT, RENEWAL, PURCHASE, OR OTHER ACCOUNT TRANSACTION WAS MADE IN ERROR, YOU AGREE TO CONTACT CitizenTest.CA FIRST SO THAT WE MAY REVIEW THE MATTER AND ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE IT. YOU AGREE NOT TO INITIATE A CHARGEBACK, PAYMENT REVERSAL, OR PAYMENT DISPUTE FOR A CHARGE THAT WAS VALIDLY AUTHORIZED AND PROCESSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE TERMS. IF YOU INITIATE A CHARGEBACK OR PAYMENT REVERSAL IN BREACH OF THESE TERMS, WE MAY SUSPEND OR TERMINATE YOUR ACCOUNT, CONTEST THE CHARGEBACK, PROVIDE RELEVANT TRANSACTION INFORMATION TO THE APPLICABLE PAYMENT PROCESSOR OR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, RECOVER ANY OUTSTANDING AMOUNTS OWED TO US, AND SEEK REIMBURSEMENT OF REASONABLE COSTS, FEES, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES INCURRED AS A RESULT OF THE CHARGEBACK, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. IMPROPER, ABUSIVE, OR FRAUDULENT CHARGEBACK ACTIVITY MAY RESULT IN THE SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF ACCESS TO BOTH FREE AND PREMIUM SERVICES.
Jargon non juridique
Contact us first about billing issues. Improper chargebacks may lead to account restrictions.
4.2 PROCÉDURE DE RÉSOLUTION DES CONFLITS
CitizenTest.CA wants to resolve customer concerns fairly and efficiently. If the initial response does not resolve the issue, you may submit the matter in writing to support@citizentest.ca with the relevant details. We will review the issue and respond within a reasonable time. The parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes informally before either party begins a formal claim, except where urgent relief, collection activity, intellectual property protection, fraud prevention, security issues, or other circumstances make informal resolution impractical.
Jargon non juridique
If there is a problem, contact support first so we can try to resolve it directly.
